As the world situation, including the pandemic, social unrest, economic downturn and intense political debate, evolves, Christian Science continues to be a reliable way to help people make sense of things.\u00a0 It places all our situations in their higher context, bringing inspiration and practical answers.\u00a0 However, the core metaphysical idea of this lecture is that we\u2019re never alone because ideas from God companion us and even work on our behalf \u2014 and continue to respond to humanity\u2019s deep desire to be part of the solution.<\/p>\n

As a math professor, Melanie Wahlberg found that when students would come to her office for help with calculus, conversation frequently turned to spirituality \u2013 after solving the math problems!\u00a0 Eventually, she shifted her career from college professor to Christian Science practitioner.<\/p>\n
